Kira Kryzenske – McFarland, WI
About: I’m Kira (she/her), 36 years old, living just outside of Madison, WI.
I majored in music in college and art has been a lifelong hobby. My job has nothing to do with the arts, just paying the bills.
I’ve been married almost a decade to my husband, Eric. We have two cats, Edgar and Queen Lillian. I’m a die-hard fan of the band Hanson.
Artist Statement: I’ve been an artist as long as I can remember. It’s been a hobby as well as something to help me deal with my emotions. I feel like it’s best to never grow up, never stop dreaming, and never stop being yourself.
Mediums: My favorite mediums are digital (using Procreate on an iPad with an Apple Pencil) and acrylic paints. I also enjoy using watercolor paints, alcohol markers, and colored pencils.
