About: Hi hi ! Lovewin / Divi here! I’m a black self taught illustrator that lives in NYC. I like cats, space, cooking, music and helping friends! I want to illustrate a children’s book and work on comics about my characters.
Artist Statement: The idea of drawing things based on nostalgia sounds so fun. From videos games, to after school and sat morning cartoons, arcades in a bowling alley. The small things like polly pockets, super magic diaries, Tamagotchi, popples, and lisa frank stickers and Sanrio, i hope to be able to share somethings from my childhood in these artworks but also not overwhelmed myself lol.
Mediums: I use traditional mediums like copics, watercolor, poscas and colored inks. I use digital mediums paint tool sai, procreate and clip studio paint.
